Atlantida is een samenwerkingsproject van Scanner en Olga Mink in
opdracht van de Biennale van Gran Canaria. Atlantida onderzoekt de
synthese tussen het natuurlijke en kunstmatige in het vulkanische
landschap van de Canarische eilanden. Mink en Scanner filmden op
locatie en bereisden zeven eilanden in zeven dagen. In dit metafysische
avontuur neemt de natuurlijke kracht het over van de mens. De toeschouwer
wordt getuige van een ‘imaginaire’ reis waarin sporen van tijd en stilte
waarneembaar worden. Atlantida is naast de Biënnale vertoond tijdens
het Onedotzero Festival in Londen en het Optica Festival in La Paz,
Bolivia.

Atlantida at onedotzero festival, London

Atlantida commissioned by 2nd Beinnial of the Canarian Islands, will be screened at onedotzero’s programme, BFI London 2009.
Onedotzero_adventures in motion is acclaimed by artists, audiences and creative industry alike for being the world leader in audio-visual arts and entertainments at the forefront of a new festival experience which combines collaborative music, film and live performance, and playful interactivity, digital arts and culture.
Terrain will take you on a journey traversing arresting moving vistas from directors who hail from a diverse spectrum of disciplines but who all share one common fascination the myriad environments in which we dwell. from the extreme visual clutter of over-populated cities to the tranquility of rural panoramic plains as well as otherworldly imagined spaces.
